Guest Book

Here are all the comments that have been left in our guest book so far (other than a couple of personal family ones, which I have omitted):

·      Thank you for a wonderful stay.  The ever changing view is breathtaking; seals, basking sharks, diving sea birds – amazing!  The apartment is very comfortable with every need thought of.  It has been a great break.  Many thanks.

·      Have had a lovely week on Arran again, enhanced by being able to stay at the newly opened apartment, which has been very thoughtfully laid out.

·      A lovely apartment, very well equipped.  Stunning views.  We had a great week on Arran.

·      Wow, what a beautiful apartment…  Thank you for a lovely week, we had a fantastic time, a home away from home!  We will be back!  Many thanks.

·      A very lovely stay in a well appointed apartment in the most fantastic location.  We saw so many amazing things – stags, sunrises, sunsets, seals, red squirrels and more.  Arran is an amazing place and certainly we plan to come back here.  Thank you for providing such a lovely base for exploring the island.

·      Thank you for having us.  As the Autumn days are now turning to winter, it was always a warm thought in our minds returning to this flat with its wonderful view, and cosy feeling.  You certainly thought of everything.

·      We have had a wonderful holiday!  The apartment is perfect and the views amazing.  We’ve seen a red squirrel, bull finches and a tree creeper out of the bedroom window and numerous birds, two otters and a submarine out of the lounge window!  The island is stunning – we will definitely return.  Thank you Pam.

·      If Arran is as good as this in a week of wind and rain it must be fantastic in the sunshine.  Hope we get back to see it some day.  The wildlife and walks are great and the view from the window takes some beating.  If we return we’ll certainly be staying at Tigh-na-Blair again.

·      We had a wonderful stay here.  What an amazing view and house, we hope to come back soon.  Thanks Pam.

·      Have loved our holiday: the scenery, the golf, the walks, the restaurants, the wildlife and most of all four days of glorious sunshine!  We’ve seen Arran at its best and loved the changing views of the Clyde from the windows of the apartment.  This is a special place!

·      Our arrival at Tigh-na-Blair was very exciting, the sound of the waves and gorgeous views breath taking.  Pam & Rob, thank you for such a warm, friendly welcome into your beautiful cottage.  Your attention to detail and high standard has made for a truly PERFECT holiday!!  ARRAN – so many adventures to be had here.  We hope to make it back again sometime soon.

·      Lovely apartment – the best loft conversion ever!  The constantly changing view is wonderful, especially with added rainbow!  Diving gannets (here) and deer on the golf course (at Lochranza) were both impressive.  We’ve had a relaxing week on Arran, thank you for providing such a great place to stay.

·      No!  We don’t want to leave.  We have had the most amazing week.  Tigh-na-Blair is beautiful – but how did you organize the fantastic weather?  All that we had heard about Arran has been confirmed – a truly outstanding place.  We will remember the plunging gannets always.  If you could just arrange an otter next time we come that would be great!  Many thanks.

·      The last time we visited Arran was 34 years ago and it has lost none of its beauty and charm.  Tigh-na-Blair Apartment is wonderful and of a very high standard, a great base to explore the island – a great place to stay.  Thank you.

·      Loved it, loved it, loved it!  Things we loved most – “sheep” moorings, wild monbretia growing at roadsides, friendliness of locals, piles of stones on the path towards Kings Caves, the changing light across the sea, the changing clouds, the wildlife, the food, the views and of course this fantastic apartment.  PS We’ll be back

·      This is a beautiful apartment with it amazing ever-changing view.  We had an amazing week-and-a-half weather-wise (thanks for arranging that!) and managed to fit in golf, Goatfell, bowls, painting & lots of lovely food & wine.  The local wildlife came out to see us – basking shark (3 sightings!), red deer, red squirrels, seals, buzzards & finally (on our last evening) we spotted an otter in the sea directly in front of the house.  Wow…  This is a lovely, comfortable apartment & you know you’ll be seeing us again!  Thank you Pam & Rob for a wonderful holiday.

·      12 Sept 8am - Otter having breakfast 100 yards away, submarine heading south, red squirrel on road to Sannox. 13 Sept – 2 sightings of otter between here and Sannox.  14 Sept – Squirrel at Whiting Bay, young golden eagles Blackwaterfoot, seals (107) Kildonan.  15 Sept – Otter from apartment window, 4 dolphins or porpoises near Fallen Rocks, golden eagle on post between Lochranza and Sannox (seen from bus).  16 Sept – Otters at Blackwaterfoot and golden eagles over String Road.  I can’t believe how lucky we’ve been in what we’ve seen, despite Hurricane Katia!  The apartment is great & really is “a room with a view”!  Thanks Pam, see you next June!

·      Wow, what an amazing apartment and stunning view!  We have had a fantastic time on the Island and seen so much wildlife, sharks, seals, red squirrels.  Only missing an otter from the list…..and we have now just seen 2 swim past the window!  We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.  Thanks so much.

·      Thanks so much for a really relaxing & pleasant stay.  Despite the rubbish weather we’ve walked loads, seen lots, eaten and drunk the best of what Arran has to offer & slept incredibly well in a very comfortable bed!  We’ve found the ever-changing view fascinating & very much hope to return.

·      We had a very good time here!  What an amazing apartment en the island Arran is fantastic.  (We come back in the summer with our campervan!)  And we saw: 1e day - otter in the sea directly in front of the house eating a fish…wow! And many seals (at Sannox and Kildonan) en many red deers (on the hills of Lochranza) en last day one red squirrel on the road.  Schotland, we loved it!  Thank you, Pam.

·      Had a really lovely time here on Arran and the apartment is beautiful.  We see Arran every day from Ayrshire but never appreciated how lovely the island is.  The highlight was watching the stag in the garden in the early morning – not to be missed!  Now that we’ve been we will definitely return.  Thanks Pam for a lovely relaxing break.

·      We have spent most of the week exploring the geology of Arran, from the Dalradian (old, intensely folded rocks) to the dykes on the sea shores.  We have been very comfortable here – and seen an otter and some dolphins(?) swimming past.

·      We have had a lovely time in Arran.  The apartment is very comfortable with a perfect view.  We would definitely like to return and will certainly recommend the apartment to family and friends.  Thank you.

·      We were seduced on our first night by the otter feeding in front of the windows and by the seal slipping by.  The otter did not reappear but the seal stood sentinel for the evening. The immature merganser(?) were frequent visitors & the gannets kept up a constant presence.  I nearly wished for bad weather to give me an excuse to sit and watch.  Arran also gave us a golden eagle & a red squirrel!  & then there was the deer half a mile down the road with velvet antlers.  What a treat and what a comfortable & well-appointed apartment.

·      Our second visit and just as good as the first.  The otters took a little longer to appear outside the window but two came to say goodbye on the last day.  Saw plenty of deer, a couple of red squirrels and a golden eagle.  We love the place and we will be back next year.

·      This is our second visit here & we really enjoyed it.  Played plenty of golf & did some walking.  Great apartment with stunning views.

·      We are sorry to be going back after a most enjoyable month in this lovely apartment with its stunning views.  We, too, have seen otters, porpoises and, possibly, a ‘small spotted catfish shark’!  May we suggest that you try your hand a crabbing off the pier at Corrie.  Catch about 24 crabs, and make yourself some crab bisque!  One of the highlights of our holiday.

·      A delightful apartment to enjoy the view and explore the island.  We have been rather lucky with the weather as the forecast was not so good.  So it was great to do all the walks we had planned.  Only one “rainfall” and we were luckily driving back after our walk instead of walking in it.  Phew!  Pretty scary driving through it nonetheless.  We never get rain as wet as that in sunny Bournemouth!  Was interested to see two swans swimming on past the window last night!  Thank you for the extras in the apartment such as salt and pepper – we forgot ours – and the window binoculars – which are far better than ours!  Now off to enjoy Bute for the last leg of our summer holiday.  Many thanks.

·      A beautiful apartment & amazing view – we saw an otter swim to shore, eat a fish, and then walk along the beach right in front of us – so exciting!  Thank you so much.

·      At 7 weeks old, this was baby Nils’ first holiday and the sun shone and the skies lit up with thunder and lightening!  And the rain came too!  An apartment with a terrific view!  It’s lovely to look out at the ever changing sky and water.  We had a beautiful sunrise this morning.  We have a great time introducing Nils to ‘Little Scotland’.  Thank you.

·      Pam & Rob – what a perfect week in a perfect apartment on a perfect island!  The weather did not dampen our spirits (only our clothes!!).  We rode horses, saw a few seals, enjoyed great food, lovely beer, enjoyed beautiful walks, the castle and of course the people.  We shall be back and there is only one place that we shall stay!  Thank you.  PS Great touch replacing the DVD player! x

·      We have had a fabulous week in your lovely apartment; the ever-changing sea, light & weather are a joy to watch.  We have seen otters, seals, deer, red squirrels and birds of prey* and enjoyed discovering Arran by bike (road and mountain bikes, it’s a cyclists’ playground!).  We would love a return visit, it’s so peaceful and relaxing. Thanks. *And on the last evening a basking shark!

·      We have had a fantastic few days here on Arran, relaxing and unwinding after our wedding day in North Yorks on Sat 13th Oct.  The weather wasn’t perfect for us, had a few rather rainy days.  But this did not spoil our time here, the island is beautiful and varied!  On our rainy days we visited the distillery, brewery and numerous shops – for soaps, cheese, jumpers and chocolates.  When the weather was good we explored Kings Caves and the stone circles at Machrie Moor (both well worth a visit!).  Dining out has been fantastic, especially Creelers Restaurant, where we also bought smoked salmon to have for breakfast – delicious!  Last but not least, the apartment is brilliant.  The view is really ever-changing as well as abundant with wildlife.  Keep those eyes peeled for otters!  Many thanks to Pam and Rob, we hope to come back again soon.

·      A perfect week's stay in a wonderful apartment.  The view is one of the best on the island and we have seen seals, many birds and, on two separate occasions, the otter was right outside swimming and feasting - this was brilliant to watch and also through the helpful binoculars.  It was also nice just to watch some of the interesting boats and helicopters passing by!  Two red squirrels played in the rear garden also.  Our 1 year old son loved the apartment, very child friendly and he loved the view every morning, saying "Oooohhhh!!"  More seals, deer, stags and birds of prey spotted on the island.  We highly recommend Cafe Thyme, Coast & Eilean Mor for food - all are fantastic quality.  Bonfire nights in Lamlash & Brodick were also superb.  Lovely starry clear nights.  Thank you very much.

·      Despite the wet & windy weather we have walked every day – really impressed by variety of good paths.  We need to come back to do the mountains when it’s less windy & more chance of a view!  Like many others who have stayed in this apartment, we’ve seen lots of wildlife & an otter spot every day but one.  The binoculars are great – it meant we had a pair each, so no squabbling to watch the otter playing, swimming & eating fish.  Very comfortable & well located apartment – we’ve loved it.  Thanks lots.

·      Visiting for a short weekend break – had such a lovely time we are planning to return in the summer!!  The apartment is beautiful – every need catered for!!  The views? – Well – see for yourself!!!  Stunning!  Roll on the summer!!!

·      We arrived just in time to miss the gales, snowstorms and electricity cut, and have had a fantastic and sunny four days on Arran.  We’ve enjoyed beautiful walks in Lochranza, Whiting Bay, Kildonan, Corrie and Blackwaterfoot.  Tigh-na-Blair has been a comfortable and relaxing place to stay.  The views are just incredible.  We’ll definitely be back!  Thank you.  PS Thanks also for the recommendation of the Sannox Hotel restaurant.

·      Fantastic weekend J with my dearest friends and couldn’t have been in a more wonderful place.  Constant changing view – could stay forever!!!

·      Thanks for a lovely time in your cracking little flat.  The ever-changing views are fantastic.  The scenery in the whole island was superb, the mountains were clear all week apart from the monsoon last Saturday!

·      This was our second visit to Arran, and we very much enjoyed staying in the apartment, enjoying the views and the passing wildlife.  We think we were very fortunate with the weather – good enough for sitting on the beach at Blackwaterfoot and Whiting Bay, and for swimming in the sea at Kildonan.  We recommend the all-you-can-eat breakfast at the Auchrannie Resort (£9.95 each) which no one seems to know about, and the Lighthouse Restaurant at Pirnmill.  We very much hope to return here.

·      We’ve had a wonderful time here.  Corrie seems to be just about the best place to stay – we drove/cycled to Lochranza and walked around the point to see the Hutton’s Unconformity – weird rock formations.  It’s so beautiful up there.  We also did the North Sannox walk, just up the road from here, as is the Sannox Bay Hotel, which is a lovely place to sit in the evening and watch the birds on the water.  The west coast of the island is beautiful and remote, though we couldn’t really understand what was special about Blackwaterfoot!  Lamlash seems so much nicer and the hotel there (Glenisle) is a very nice place to sit if you want to have coffee in peace looking out at the water and Holy Isle.  We didn’t eat there, but it looked like the best menu we’d seen.  The apartment is so perfect though, that mostly we preferred to eat and drink coffee here!

·      Dear Pam – Your apartment is gorgeous!  We wish we were here longer...  But will be back!  Thanks for everything.

·      We don’t want to leave!  Off to Callander & the Trossachs.  I’m sure it will be terrific – but it has no sea!  Here on Arran we’ve come to love Machrie & its stone circles, Lochranza & its stags, the unconformity, the King’s Caves, Whiting Bay, Lamlash – and Corrie, of course.  We regret not meeting Marvin Elliot – his carvings are marvellous, and we loved visiting his unlocked workshop, but only caught the occasional fleeting glimpse of the man himself.  Does he only work at night?!  The best food was the Hotel at Sannox – and Creelers for fish (not cheap, though).  The Douglas was a good setting for watching the British Lions escape with a narrow win against Australia in the first test, but their food isn’t special.  A highlight was the sheepdog trials at Corriegills – can there be a more beautiful setting anywhere?  And “discovering” the library at Eas Mor waterfall was touching.  Half a day at Brodick Castle was well spent, and the Lochranza distillery was an amazing place.  We’ll come again soon, and just spend a week looking out to sea and watching the birds and the changing sky.

·      A fabulous week in the baking heat.  Can’t wait to come back again!  Roll on next year, we will certainly be back.  This year we managed Goat Fell, the walk from Sannox to Lochranza, the King’s Cave, Deep Sea fishing, Crab fishing, jumping from the pier at Lamlash, the North Sannox forest walk and much, much more in between.  R--- joined us for a couple of lovely days and gave mum some female company.  Hope she can manage next year too!  Thanks Mum and Dad (Grandma and Grandad) for giving us such a fabulous holiday.

·      Wonderful apartment.  Everything you could desire.  Saw eagle, seal and even a porpoise whilst on boat trip around Holy Island.  Also a nuclear submarine!!  A lovely relaxing holiday – we shall be back.  Many thanks.

·      We were here for the wedding of our cousin/niece and had a wonderful time.  The island is beautiful and some forest parts are simply magical.  The apartment was great and we love that you thought of all the little things that are practical and handy in the house.  We’ll gladly recommend you to friends!

·      From the moment we climbed the stairs and opened the lounge door we knew the apartment was going to be perfect – and we haven’t been disappointed.  How could we be with such an awe inspiring view, such quality fittings and such extra care taken to provide all those little things that make it a home from home.  We too have been treated to watching seals basking on the rocks at Sannox, an otter and a heron from the window and a pair of swans gliding by – wonderful.  Arran has charmed us with its beaches and harbours and has challenged us with its mountains and high level cycle routes.  A fabulous week!

·      Beautiful flat; beautiful island.  In the immortal words of Arnold Schwarzenegger – “I’ll be Back!”

·      What a fantastic holiday we have had – thank you so much!  Having left our car at Ardrossan, we have travelled (almost) all of the island on our bikes, seeing beautiful views and picnicking in wonderful places.  Our one trip on the bus took us on an unforgettable visit to the distillery at Lochranza where we enjoyed a fascinating tour and a most delicious lunch!  Returning to this gorgeous apartment each evening with its ever-changing views and every home comfort has been a real treat!  You have thought of everything and we have had a truly wonderful time.  Thank you again.

·      We’ve had yet another lovely week in Corrie.  The weather’s been AMAZING for the first week in September!  Porpoises have been spotted from the front window and we had a close-up look at a buzzard from the back window, sitting on the telegraph wire.  We recommend a visit to Corrie Golf Club – either for the golf or the tearoom (great scampi and chips on a Friday!) and also Machrie Old Byre for lovely food and coffee.  The apartment’s been beautiful, as always!

·      Our third visit to Tigh-na-Blair – just as good as the first two.  Weather wet as usual but still very enjoyable with a couple of dry days.  Some good sightings of otters, especially from the Kildonan Hotel.  Never get bored with view out the window.  Anyone reading this you have picked a great place to explore the lovely island.

·      Had a lovely time on what was our first visit to Arran.  The apartment is wonderful, what a view.  Thanks for putting us up at short notice.

·      Lovely weekend, good weather, great apartment.  Caught a couple of fish at North Sannox.  Enjoyed the views from Goatfell and enjoyed watching the seals at Lochranza!  Looking forward to our next visit.

·    The apartment lived up to all other comments – amazing view and so comfortable and quiet, which is just what we needed. Watching basking sharks in the water so near here and in Sannox Bay was a massive bonus!  Ten lovely big seals sunning themselves on the rocks between here and Sannox was another one, along with spotting a heron calmly surveying them.  Food at Sannox Bay Hotel excellent.  We will certainly recommend and hopefully come back for longer visit.

·      We had a wonderful fortnight, and don’t want to leave…!  What a fantastic view, with an ever-changing sky, and frequent rainbows.  We managed some walks in varying weather (but mostly sun – not bad for Scotland in October).  Explored most of the coffee shops J - diet starts tomorrow – and we really appreciated the golf clubs which offer coffees, teas and snacks.  Try Machrie tea-room – open all winter and lovely views, friendly staff and excellent food.  Fell in love with Arran – we’ll be back!  Thank you, Pam, what a beautiful place to stay.  God bless.

·      First return in 13 years so very excited to be back in Corrie.  Not much has changed which is why it is so unique and why it is such a pleasure to do all the same things we did on previous visits.  You can never tire of the fabulous mountains, countryside and the sea.  Our short stay at Tigh-na-Blair was pure luxury, with all the ingredients to allow us to relax and enjoy the surroundings.  It was just so nice to return from a full day out in the wind and rain to such a nice and warm apartment.  We were lucky to catch an otter swimming just outside the window and red squirrels in the garden.  Shame to have to leave really!  Thank you Pam and Rob.

·     Despite the stormy January weather, we enjoyed our stay in Tigh-na-Blair tremendously!  The view is spectacular, the accommodation charming and Pam has been extremely friendly and helpful.  Thank you very much!

·     Had a lovely short break in this clean and well-equipped apartment, thank you so much for taking us at such short notice!  Tigh-na-Blair has everything you need and, of course, the fantastic view – I’m mesmerised by that sea!  Arran, as always, has been a total joy and never disappoints.

·     Have had such an enjoyable time exploring Arran – made even better by having such a lovely place to come ‘home’ to each evening.  Just loved it!

·     Truly, a room with a view!  Arran is rightly famous for its mountain vistas and seascapes but this apartment is the jewel in the crown.  Whether the weather is good or bad, the views from window are always inspiring.  Thank you for a fantastic holiday!

·     We’ve spent a week exploring Arran from this beautiful apartment and loved every moment of our stay here.  With its nice walks, stunning views, friendly people and good whisky it’s a shame Arran is so far away from London!  Thanks Pam for being a great host and we hope to be back!

·     Enjoyed a truly fantastic stay in this perfect apartment.  Tigh-na-Blair is most definitely – a room with a view!  We also celebrated the wedding of our friends at Corrie and Sannox Village Hall.  This was a delightful occasion, with the backdrop of stunning scenery on the picturesque Isle of Arran – “Scotland in Miniature”.  A heartfelt thank you to the delightful Pam & Rob who are perfect hosts.  We very much look forward to returning to this perfect ‘Home from Home’.

·     Have truly enjoyed our week on Arran.  The apartment has been a joy to stay in.  The weather of course (being Scotland) was not always to our liking (especially Wednesday).  But we are used to it, why let rain and wind spoil the fun.  We loved the road to Lochranza – we went there every day (even Wednesday).  If you never eat out anywhere else on the island you must go to the Sannox Bay Hotel (1 mile up the road, booking advisable, 01770-810225).

·     Had an amazing weeks holiday, brought our bikes.  The weather was good, got slightly wet on Saturday but just made it more of an adventure.  Have discovered the Western side of the island is much better for OAP cycling.  We did quite a bit of cycling and got to the top of Goatfell (not on our bikes of course) – the views were amazing.  Would recommend a visit to Brodick Castle, it is very interesting and the guides are excellent.  Also a visit to Kildonan beach is worthwhile.  The apartment is excellent and the ever-changing view is fantastic, I shall miss that when I get home.  Saw all sorts of wildlife and heard a cuckoo every day, the only animal missing was the red squirrel!!

·     As soon as we walked in the room, we were awestruck!  A fabulous week followed.  Enjoyed Holy Island and our journey over to Carradale from Lochranza courtesy of Clyde Steamers and the MV Chieftain.  Highlight of the week was walking in the baking sun along the front near Kildonan!  Lunch at the hotel was very good.  Today (Thursday) we went round to the very north of the island from Lochranza.  Spied a large dog otter and watched for an or so – fishing followed by a nap on the shore!  Then off he went again.  Brilliant!  We leave tomorrow for Carradale (again) and then home on Saturday.  Fond memories indeed.  Thank you, Pam.

·     We have had another wonderful week on Arran, and have been very fortunate with the weather, which we gather was a great deal better than it was at home!  We’ve done a lot of walking, and Jonathan made it to the top of Goatfell.  Breakfast at Auchrannie Resort is still as good as it was.  Looking forward to coming back again next year.

·     We have had a wonderful first visit to Arran – I have really appreciated the comfort and views of your amazing apartment.  Thank you.

·     What a diverse week – walking (Goatfell), golf (Corrie and Lochranza), live music at the Folk Festival, culture (Brodick Castle and Heritage Museum – both highly recommended), good food at Sannox and wonderful accommodation at this lovely homely apartment.  Much wildlife to be observed from the apartment – but I must tear myself away to pack.  A great week – many thanks Pam and Rob.  A bonus – the last morning we watched the otter while eating breakfast!

·     We had an amazing week here on Arran.  Saw the sea otter many times – deer at Lochranza, and a wonderful cruise aboard The Waverley around The Cumbries, Bute and Loch Long.  The weather was quite kind, but really it makes no difference – Arran is Arran – beautiful in all aspects.  We so envy you living here.  Hope to return really soon.

·     Had a wonderful stay – very much enjoyed our ‘room with a view’.  Really appreciated the tea and coffee, milk and shortbread we found on our arrival – shortbread made a great first breakfast!  Overall we had great weather and enjoyed the outdoors every day.  The wildlife was amazing – almost appearing to order – we saw porpoises, seals, an otter fishing and feeding, deer, gannets and divers.  Everyone we met helped to make our trip to Arran a memorable one!

·     Had a wonderful week here in Corrie.  House has been amazing – very comfortable and views from the window unbelievable from early morning to late at night – sun, moon, stars in all their glory.  Loads of wildlife – herons, dolphins, seals, even think we caught a glimpse of the sea otter one evening.  Weather mainly sunny with only a few showers.  Had a wonderful walk to Sannox and North Sannox finishing off a glorious day with a meal at the Sannox Bay Hotel.  Food was fantastic as was the welcome.  Particularly enjoyed the freshly caught crab – made into a pate – and the venison – well worth a visit and very well priced.  Thank you Pam and Rob for the warm welcome, have enjoyed our time in Corrie and hope to be back.

·     Gorgeous apartment – stunning views!  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we’ll be back!

·     Thank you for your hospitality.  We’ve had a great week.  Fantastic views from the apartment.  At home we look over a builders merchants yard!  No doubt we’ll be back.

·     We have had a wonderful week on Arran.  The apartment is fantastic – views are amazing even on a wet day!  We have seen red deer, red squirrels and lots of birdlife.  On our last day we saw seals at Lochranza.  The Arran Farmers’ Show was worth taking in and we have had many enjoyable walks and a trip to Holy Island!  Whatever we have done each day it has been a joy to come back to ‘the room with a view’.  Thank you so much.

·     Many thanks for a lovely week in your fantastic apartment – so much thought has been put into every comfort that you could possibly need.  It certainly is a “ROOM WITH A VIEW” – we managed to get a visit from a seal daily with two on our last day!!  We also saw an otter, an oyster-catcher, a pair of swans, a submarine, various yachts – there was always something – and not forgetting some red deer at Lochranza!!  We agree completely with your recommendation of the Sannox Bay Hotel for a meal – fabulous!!  ‘Coast’ at Whiting Bay is another to try.  The only thing that let us down was the weather, but your window made up for it in “spades” – it was no hardship!  We wanted a quiet, relaxing holiday and we certainly weren’t disappointed.  Almost forgot!! – great day at the Brodick Highland Games and that was our best day weather wise – very hot!!  Can’t wait to come back!!

·     A mixed week – weatherwise – but also activities very varied.  Biggest challenge was Goatfell – worth the effort for the views and sense of achievement, but took all day and our legs certainly let us know we are out of condition.  Travelling around the island there are so many lovely views and places to stop.  Little book of walks from the Tourist Information was great and well-used.  Open Studios – interesting and varied.  We have had a good week and love the view in all weathers.  Thank you.

·     The ever-changing sky, the wind, the colours of nature – AMAZING!  We’ve had a great time on Arran and thanks to your beautiful apartment.  Seals, golden eagles and other birds, deer…we will come back.

·     Our fourth time here and the apartment is superb, as always.  Thanks Pam.  Even the weather was good – lots of sunshine and no rain!  We’ve been very lucky, basking sharks and dolphins/porpoises (not sure which!) at Sannox picnic area, golden eagles (2) at Lochranza, harriers at Machrie stone circle and otters at Corrie and Sannox.  We even managed to see a seal or 100 at Kildonan!!!  Recommend dinner at the Sannox Bay Hotel, and Machrie golf course does a cracking baguette!  Hope to be back again next year.

·     This apartment is definitely one of the best we have ever stayed in – and the fantastic view such an added bonus!  We were told we had to come to Arran as it’s ‘Scotland in Miniature’ and it hasn’t disappointed – all the years we have travelled right up into the Highlands and here it all is!  We hope to come back, thank you, it’s been fantastic.

·     We have an absolutely brilliant week on Arran – the apartment is lovely and the perfect base to come home to after a day’s exploring!  Even though the weather has not been great, we managed to climb Goatfell on a clear day – well worth the effort, with wonderful views!  We have also seen seals, red squirrels, and had a close encounter with some red deer on the road to Lochranza!!  Thank you so much, we’ll definitely return!!

·     Thank you for having us again.  Lovely weather and caught a bunch of fish.  See you again.

·     Pam & Rob, thank you for another wonderful week on Arran.  After the hustle and bustle of Christmas & New Year it has been so wonderful to come here and just relax.  The weather has been indifferent but it has been so lovely to look through your wonderful window and just enjoy the weather while feeling warm and snug in your wonderful apartment.  We have seen the otter many times…does he make an appearance for the tourists?  Either way we feel really blessed to have seen him.  Thank you once again, hope to see you in the summer.  PS  Wonderfully snowy last 2 days.

·     What a great base to explore the island.  The apartment is great and has everything covered.  Lovely weather added to what has been a great week.  We are already looking to plan our next visit.  Thanks for everything.

·     Our 2nd stay at Room with a View, we have stayed at others on Arran, this is the BEST!  Fabulous weather, over 100 miles of cycling, and the trek that is Goatfell! – amazing views the reward.  Lovely meal at Sannox Bay Hotel, make sure you’re hungry!  Thanks for great hospitality Pam.

·     First visit to Arran.  Tigh-na-Blair made the perfect base.  So much to see and not enough time!  Need to come back and see the rest.  Many thanks.

·     Had a lovely stay at Tigh-na-Blair.  Wonderful apartment and location.  Great scenery and wildlife to photograph.  We will be back again.

·     Three times in the Eighties, we came to this Isle.

And stayed at Lamlash, south by many a mile.

The children we brought, now are parents themselves!

So this time we’ve chosen to come by ourselves.

We’ve booked this apartment; our first time in Corrie.

It’s splendid.  Just try it, and you won’t be sorry.

Of sightings that others have penned in this book:

The otters, seals, squirrels, we’d never a look.

We managed Glenashdale as far as the Falls.

Explored at Lochranza the Castle’s old walls.

Then onto the Ferry and over the sea,

For coffee at Tarbet, Lochgilphead for tea.

Thanks for a good week.  We’ve enjoyed every place,

And found Tigh-na-Blair a convenient base.

·     Our fourth visit.  But the first time we managed to go for a meal at the Sannox Bay Hotel (excellent) and very pleased to find that the Corrie Hotel is under new management.  Also the first time we’ve taken the car across to Kintyre – very good day at Skipness.  Will we get to Gigha next year?  Some very long walks this year, notably round the Cock of Arran – we won’t forget scrambling over those rocks!  Thank you!

·     We’ve both had a fantastic visit and have loved staying in this apartment!  The view is just stupendous and the accommodation is very well equipped.  We hope to return soon and will be making recommendations to our friends and family.  We spotted a seal and three otters but the red squirrels have so far eluded us – although we still hope to spot one or tow at Brodick Castle tomorrow before catching an afternoon ferry.  Our comments on local eateries: eighteen69 (The Auchrannie – Scottish Tapas Restaurant) – our favourite eating-out experience here with excellent food and friendly service (and cocktails to-die-for); Creelers (Duchess Court – Brodick) – very fresh, very nicely cooked fish and seafood; Corrie Hotel – simple, humble bar food at reasonable prices and an opportunity to meet the locals (perfect fayre for post-Goatfell climb!)  Now saving our appetites for the Sannox Bay Hotel this evening!  Thanks for everything.

·     First time to Arran.  Had a fantastic week.  Goatfell a must.  Apartment Home from Home.  Thanks.  PS Thanks for the cookies, milk and tea.

·     We’ve had a marvellous week here, which was unfortunately shortened for one day because of the ferryboat strike.  Our gorgeous walks:  Machrie Moor, King’s Cave, North Glen Sannox, Goatfell, Lochranza-Laggan-Cock of Arran-Lochranza, Glenashdale Waterfalls, Glen Sannox.  Thanks.

·     A day late in getting to Arran due to the strike but well worth the wait.  Had a great relaxing week, with lovely accommodation and certainly a “room with a view”.  The weather was mixed but when the sun came out it was lovely.  The Sannox Hotel is well worth a visit for a meal but beware – the helpings are huge!  Disappointed I couldn’t manage a sweet.  This was our first visit to Arran which was certainly enhanced with the accommodation and hospitality.  Shame we have to go home.  Thanks.

·     A week to remember!  Our first visit to Arran and hopefully not our last!  What a wonderful apartment with outstanding views of the estuary and every comfort for an enjoyable holiday.  Pam made us very welcome and we have enjoyed the local hospitality in several eateries during the week.  Black Grouse – Blackwaterfoot definitely worth a visit.  Sannox Bay Hotel – amazing venison – even cleared my plate, but portions are generous – so ensure you have an appetite.  Corrie Hotel – very good food and watched the tennis.  Seen the sea otter on several occasions, met red deer at Lochranza, and saw a seal near Brodick Castle enjoying the sunshine.  Hope to come back next year and perhaps the car will not require Angus Lambie’s skills!!  Many thanks.

·     We, too, have had our first visit to Arran – what magnificent scenery and superb walking.  We had a very clear day for views from the top of Goatfell, though we would recommend others to use the route from Brodick Castle rather than the nearer one from Corrie, which is very rough nearly all the way!  Thank you for such a comfortable apartment with superb views and also for your concern ahead of the threatened ferry strike.  Let’s hope for everyone’s sakes that there are no further problems!  We leave reluctantly and shall hope to return very soon.

·     Our first visit to Arran.  What a beautiful and relaxing place.  Lovely apartment and everything you could possibly want.  Will definitely recommend.  Good walks – only wish we had brought our bikes.  Next time!  Have seen red deer and seals and beautiful wild flowers.  Thank you Pam for making us welcome.  Last view – a row of baby swallows on the gutters.

·     Lovely visit to Arran with a beautiful place to stay.  Would recommend to anyone to come here as it’s a great base for all the lovely hills you can climb.  Thanks for a lovely place to have some peace.

·     Our first visit to Arran – wow, what a beautiful island…  Certainly, ‘Scotland in Miniature’!  The scenery is just so diverse.  Travelled all around the island in the car, plus cross country along the ‘String’ and ‘Ross’ roads.  Walked up to Glen Sannox and the Machrie Standing Stones.  Walked along side a beautiful forest at North Sannox.  Stopped and gazed at various views along the way.  Thank you Pam for allowing us to share this little piece of paradise.  ☺  (Our first ever attempt at completing a 500 piece jigsaw…yeah, we did it!!!!)

·     A lovely little island.  We have been lucky with the weather and saw what we couldn’t see of the island with a pram in the car.  A lovely apartment with stunning views.  Will be back one day!  Thanks so much.

·     Had a great week.  Weather couldn’t have been better.  We managed to walk the coastal path, which was our reason for coming over.  The apartment was fab – so clean and comfortable.  Loved the bath after a day of walking.

·     We have had a fabulous week.  Tigh-na-Blair is a wonderful place to explore this beautiful island.  The weather has been great too.  While here I’ve read Kirsty Wark’s novel, ‘The Legacy of Elizabeth Pringle’, which had lots of background information about Arran.  We also bought ‘Arran for Families’, which was a delight and full of lots of local info.  This has been a great end to a fantastic holiday.  Thank you!

·     What a beautiful island, helped by wonderful weather.  We have seen lots of wildlife, seals, otters, red deer and red squirrels.  Lucky to watch an otter from the apartment window for over an hour.  The walks and scenery have been fabulous and all the wildflowers quite lovely.  There is so much to see on Arran, another visit in the future is a must.  Thank you Pam for providing a perfect base, everything we could possibly need, and spectacular views too!!

·     Wonderful week, as usual.  Apartment great – everything you could need for a relaxing week.  Outstanding week for wildlife as Arran’s finest all made an appearance including an otter outside the window fishing in the sea; golden eagles on road to Lochranza; dolphins on sea between Lochranza and Clonaig; hen harriers at Machrie Standing Stones and a few red squirrels and deer here and there.  Highlights for us were basking sharks off Sannox picnic area and an otter feeding off Kildonan beach.  Thanks again Pam & Rob for another great week.  PS  See you next year.

·     A great escape from a tough week!  What a place to stay to switch off and relax.  We’ve been spoiled by great weather, gorgeous surroundings and outstanding wildlife.  We’ve been lucky enough to see otters, red deer, red squirrels, seals and diving gannets.  Oh, and a full moon over the water – so tranquil!  We’ve loved staying here and will certainly recommend to family and friends.  Thanks for such lovely hospitality!

·     What a wonderful week.  We started to relax as soon as we saw the view and couldn’t take our eyes off the sea in its various lights.  Highlights included seeing a golden eagle in Glen Rosa, and photographing red stags, and a squirrel having a snooze on a branch out the back of the house.  The weather was great and the walks invigorating.  My photos will soon be on facebook and hopefully my friends will want to stay here too!  Thank you for making us so comfortable.  (Lovely meal at Glenisle Bistro, Lamlash, on our last evening.)

·     This is our second stay in the apartment, and hopefully not our last!!  Another wonderful week – Arran is such a fabulous place, and we have enjoyed some great walking.  The weather has been kinder than we thought, and the apartment a perfect base for exploring.  Thanks Pam for having us back, and we’ll hopefully see you again next year!!

·     We had a lovely wee break in the attic!  Found ourselves coming back of an evening rather than staying out, as it’s such a cosy space.  The binoculars were a real bonus – used them for stargazing on the odd clear night.  We’ll be back!

·     To see the end of 2015 and the dawn of 2016 in this beautiful magical place has been an unforgettable experience.  We feel deeply inspired here, besides being warmly welcomed by you both.  There has been music and dancing, this time, with lovely people locally, new friends made and cosy wintery nights writing and reading by the sight and sound of the sea.  Thank you for creating this truly unique space.  We’ll come back any time with the joy of a homecoming.

·     Had to cut our stay short as weather looked very bad on Thursday and Friday and we had to be back in London on Saturday.  Nevertheless we had a lovely peaceful time – such a change from our hectic work styles.  Weather wasn’t good but very dramatic.  Thank you for having us – hope to come back in the summer and stay the full week.

·     As always, we have had a wonderful time on Arran.  Weather has been good – lots of sunny days.  It is so peaceful and quiet here.  The perfect place for rest and relaxation.  Wonderful views from this very nice little apartment.

·     Lovely place, beautiful view!  My first time; my boyfriend’s been many times before!  Loved making the memories here to treasure.  Will defo be coming again!  We’ve been to Sannox beach – beautiful!!!! We’ve also been to Brodick Castle – amazing!  We will be coming back.  See you soon!  With love.

·     Second visit to Tigh-na-Blair and enjoyed it just as much as our first trip.  Weather was mixed but this didn’t stop us exploring.  Still enjoy eating at the table enjoying the great view, not sure you’d ever get bored looking out the big windows.  Thanks again for having us and providing the stair gate!

·     We couldn’t have asked for better weather this week with glorious sunshine every day.  We have enjoyed some excellent walks in the mountains and some flatter walks too!  The apartment has been the perfect place to explore from, especially with a 7 month old to entertain.  We will certainly be visiting Arran again in the future.

·     We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our first trip to Arran in.  Beautiful sunrises greeted us each morning; the sound of splashing waves and the twinkle of stars lulled us to sleep each night.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.  Not to mention the beautiful island, which is amazing with plenty of opportunities for hillwalking and flat walks.  Thank you for making us feel welcome and your hospitality, Pam!  We’ll be writing about this in our blog:  beyondourhorizons.wordpress.com

·     Well, what a week.  Seen eagles up by the distillery at Lochranza and seals.  Had a lovely time with our friends (in other places).  Apartment nice to come home to.  Weather been okay.  Had some lovely days.  Arran is beautiful, enjoyed walking round 5-mile walk and lovely bluebells everywhere.  Thanks Pam for making us welcome when we landed here.  Never saw the otters, but maybe next time.  Will come again to Arran.  Red deer lovely at Lochranza.  Amazing views.  Went paddling at one stage – lovely for feet.  Love

·     The fifth time we’ve been to Arran, but never before has the weather been as good as this!  So good that we seem to have spent rather a lot of time on various beaches (Kildonan, Brodick, Blackwaterfoot, Skipness) and eating outdoors.  For the first time we got to a meal at the Stag’s Pavilion in Lochranza – it was worth waiting for, accompanied by a beautiful sunset.  We’ll be keeping those photos for a long time.  Thank you!

·     Thank you Pam for providing such a beautiful ‘apartment’ in which we could unwind quickly and settle into our holiday.  We so needed time away and, preparing to return home, we both feel much refreshed and blessed this week.  We shall recommend your apartment to friends and family as an ideal base on Arran – and hope ourselves to return in the future.  All the best for other summer visitors.

·     While the world changes out there, this beautiful haven on the magical island remains the same welcoming, comforting and delightful space for our adventures here.  Thank you for making it this way.  Hoping to return sometime.  With our warmest wishes, always.

·     Arrived at Pam’s apartment and made to feel at home and welcome straight away.  The apartment was homely and very comfortable for both adults and four kids.  We had enjoyed great days out at the castle.  We also visited Arran cheese shop, which was great fun for the kids watching through the glass window.  We visited a lot of little shops, Friday’s Child, the Heritage Museum, which cost £9.00 for a family of six – great value and lovely people.  We walked along the beach, collected shells with kids, and enjoyed a walk along to North Sannox with four kids – it did take some time, but enjoyable.  Pam’s welcome book had amazing information on things to do and see and was always helpful and thoughtful.  When we arrived there was a pint of milk in the fridge.  Her little touches all over the apartment make you feel even more welcome.  We met Rob and he is a lovely man with great information on the island.  Had an amazing time with our four kids – memories to last a lifetime.

·     A lovely two weeks spent in Arran and the lovely apartment.  Weather has been good and allowed many walks up and down hills/mountains and coast.  The views from the table have been great.  We will be back!

·     What a place Pam has got; this place is spot on – it is so welcoming with fab views, lovely and cosy, plus super-duper clean and those shortbread and milk were very much appreciated.  It has been an excellent base to explore Arran.  We have so much enjoyed our stay!  Thank you!  Some of our favourite things:  Kildonan – spotted a sea otter here frolicking in the shallows; Loch Tanna – (walk) great waterfall to take a chilly dip in; Arran Heritage Museum – quaint, but very interesting, worth a visit; Wineport – fab for lunch and brewery and pottery close by – good to have a nose round; Glenashdale Falls – waterfall walk – beautiful and very impressive waterfall; Sandwich Station (in Lochranza) – brilliant to pick up a packed lunch; King’s Cave walk – really cool, especially if you love a bit of history and geological features (great intrusive volcanic landform – a sill – there).  Thanks for a great place to stay.

·     What a bonus the week was available!  The ‘perfect’ place to stay and a good base to explore from.  If ‘otter spotting’ was an Olympic sport, Rachel takes gold (6-0).  We leave very relaxed having felt like we’ve been in an outside luxury cabin on a cruise liner.  I’m sure we’ll be back.

·     We had a splendid week, and consider ourselves very lucky to have discovered Tigh-na-Blair and Arran.  We will be back.

·     Great time at Tigh-na-Blair.  View breath-taking.  Apartment lovely and fresh and clean.  Thank you for a great holiday.

·     Thank you for your part of our wonderful week in Arran.  The view from the apartment is spectacular, the beds comfortable and the kitchen really well stocked.  We will definitely be back!

·     Once again a great place to stay.  Weather not bad, wildlife amazing, as usual.  Great view of the otter on last day and future guests should see basking sharks, as they are a bit late this year.

·     Our 3rd stay at Room with a View, thanks Pam, as spotlessly clean and comfortable as ever, we have had a lovely break and already have plans for next time.  Saw an eagle this time on walk up Glen Rosa (the lazy way, parked car up Cart Road, off The String) and the Hunter’s Moon on Saturday night was amazing.

·     This is our third stay in the apartment and, as ever, it has not disappointed.  We have had another fabulous week on Arran, and coming back to stay in this cosy place each evening after a day’s walking is just great.  The weather has been really good, and we have enjoyed lovely walks around the Cock of Arran, Glen Rosa and Glen Sannox, and Whiting Bay/Glenashdale Falls.  Had a fantastic evening out at Brambles restaurant at Auchrannie resort (would definitely recommend it!) and have enjoyed several post-walk pints by the fire in the Corrie Hotel.  Thanks Pam, I’m pretty sure you’ll be seeing us again next year!!

·     Another wonderful time on Arran.  Weather has been very fine for this time of the year.  The apartment, as always, has been a lovely haven to come back to.  Plenty of wildlife seen – the sea otter on several occasions and a fresh water otter at Sannox.  We leave feeling relaxed and ready to face our hectic life in Shrewsbury.  Thank you Pam & Rob for once again letting us stay at Tigh-na-Blair.  Hope to return soon to this amazing island.

·     Our first visit to Arran and we’ve had such a lovely relaxing week here.  This apartment is so comfortable and the view is fantastic!  We’ve been lucky enough to see otters on 4 days of our week – the first time we watched 3 for nearly 40 minutes, magical!  Also seen seals, red deer and a red squirrel (at Lamlash).  Sadly no eagles, maybe next time.  Perfect place for relaxing, unwinding and sleeping like logs!  Thanks Pam.

·     We have had a great week here on Arran – our first visit to the island.  Flat is very comfortable and well-equipped.  Have spent many hours at the window with the binoculars.  Highlights have been walks to Glenashdale Falls, Machrie Standing Stones and North Glen Sannox as well as dinner and a bluegrass band in the Fiddlers’ Bar in Brodick.  To top it all we watched a family of sea otters playing on the shore just up the road this evening – it was magical.  Many thanks.

·     Our second visit to Tigh-na-Blair.  We have, again, had a wonderful time.  Otters, red squirrels, eagle, to name but a couple.  Wildlife and birds are stunning.  We will be back.  Hope weather will be same as our week, brill.  Lovely apartment – thanks Pam.

·     We have visited Arran countless times with many stays in and around Corrie/Sannox.  Tigh-na-Blair is a wonderful find and we plan to return again (and again).  As ever, great walks – Cioch-na-h’Oighe and the Castles horseshoe via Witch’s Leap – and wonderful views.  Many thanks to Pam for the warm welcome and lovely apartment.

·     Lovely apartment with stunning views.  Great hosts in Pam and Rob.  Will be returning hopefully not too long.

·     A very welcome break in a lovely apartment – thank you.

·     This is my first visit to the beautiful island of Arran.  I have had a wonderful time.  The weather has been mainly dry so I have been able to have plenty of walks.  Went up Goatfell, a bit of a scramble near the top, but rewarded with a clear view of the mountains all around.  Enjoyed the Distillery at Lochranza and saw a group of deer and stag just further up the road.  Saw the otter twice out of the apartment window.  It has a habit of going onto the large rock on the right between 9 and 9:30 in the evening.  And finally, loved the apartment.  A beautiful room with a fantastic view.  Thank you Pam and Rob, I would love to come again.

·     Had a wonderful holiday on Arran.  This apartment is really lovely – spotless, fresh and homely.  The kitchen is spot on and the view is fantastic.  The bedroom is pretty and the bed really comfy.  The weather was good and there were so many great walks and wildlife to see.  Particularly enjoyed my visit to Holy Island, walks at Lochranza (great sandwiches at the ferry there), standing stones at Machrie, and walks around Kilmory and Sannox.  (Saw an otter once from the apartment, around 9:20pm in the water.)  Thank you – would highly recommend to others.

·     We have really enjoyed our visit to “Room with a View”.  Really lovely apartment with everything catered for.  We will certainly be recommending the apartment to family and friends.  We were here in Corrie celebrating the 50th Wedding Anniversary of our good friends, and have had a wonderful time.  Thanks for the lovely apartment.

·     Thank you very much for a lovely stay.  Very well supplied apartment and friendly people.  Excellent windows for wildlife spotting – saw a red squirrel from the bedroom window and otters from sitting room between 9 and 9:30pm.  Will definitely be recommending.  Highlights of holiday – seeing otters for the first time, relaxed seal sunbathing outside Corrie Hotel and cruise on the Waverley around Holy Isle – beautiful vessel.  Thanks for the beautiful accommodation.

·     We’ve had a fantastic fortnight here at Tigh-na-Blair.  It’s our 3rd visit to Arran and 2nd visit to this apartment.  The weather’s been very variable but we’ve been able to go out walking every day.  Had a great meal last night at the Black Grouse Restaurant in Blackwaterfoot.  We’re sad to leave but have had a great holiday and hope to return.

·     This was our first visit in August, and the weather has been rather better than expected.  We didn’t think we would get here at all in 2017, so that was a bonus.  Had another excellent meal at the Stag’s Pavilion in Lochranza, and a very informative guided tour of Brodick Castle.  Thank you!  Hope to come again.

·     Our 2nd visit and another excellent week!

·     What a lovely break – it went much too fast - hope to return.  Best of Arran.

·     This was our 2nd stay here, and once again we’ve been captivated by Arran’s stunning beauty, especially in her autumn colours.  A full moon last night, reflected on the water – wow!  And we’ve really appreciated the cosy apartment again, it’s so clean and fresh, and wonderful to come back to at the end of the day.  Thank you, Pam & Rob – and especially for the ‘cookies and milk’ welcome!

·     Another lovely stay in your very comfortable flat.  We saw an otter swim past before even starting to unpack the car!  We survived the tail end of hurricane Ophelia, and discovered Arran still looks beautiful in the rain.  This time we saw all of the Arran Big 5!  Please can we come again?!

·     Another fantastic week on Arran, our 4th stay in the apartment – lovely as ever, thank you Pam!  The weather has been mixed, but we have still had a fantastic walk each day, and enjoyed watching otters and seals play from the window.  We even made it up Goatfell with some decent views!  I’m sure we’ll be back again next year!

·     What an amazing place to be for 2 days!  We drove around the island today and the apartment is in a perfect location.  We woke up this morning to sun and views were spectacularly beautiful.  Even in the middle of winter we found this place to be cozy and warm.  I wish we could stay longer and I seriously hope to return someday.  Beautiful island, spacious apartment, and amazing views made this an outstanding holiday.

·     Another lovely break in Arran.  Sightings of the sea otter and deer.  Weather was snowy when we arrived – that just made the views even more spectacular.  Thanks again Pam and Rob for the use of the apartment.  Hope to see you both next year.

·     Thanks for a lovely stay in your apartment – it was perfect for a relaxed weekend away.  We enjoyed lots of day trips including a great tour of the gardens at Brodick Castle.  We also entertained ourselves with wildlife spotting from the big windows, seeing seals and porpoises!

·     Another great stay on Arran - have seen red squirrels from the bedroom window and a heron and an otter from the front - hope to see more.  The apartment is great – thanks Pam & Rob.  Just seen huge flock of birds pass by the window – it’s great.  Hopefully see you again next year.

·     Thank you to Pam and Rob for creating this wonderful ‘room with a view’ – and, boy, what a view.  A stunning apartment, beautifully appointed and presented.

·     We’ve had a fantastic 4-day break, relaxing on this beautiful island that we have been coming to all our lives.  Weather mixed but on our last day saw the deer down at shore level in Lochranza and on the golf course, and, on our way home, seals sunning themselves on the rocks between Sannox and the apartment.  Thank you Pam for the perfect ‘home from home’ and all the little extras.  We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the amazing views.

·     Wonderful 3 nights here.  Each day started with a marvellous view of night turning to dawn then turning to day.  Awesome wildlife:  otters, red deer, seals, great for watching seabirds.  Wonderful apartment – will be back.
